How would a traditional family driven Italian cycle manufacturer go about building there Titanium frames. Well of course they would only put in the hands of one of the family, keeping the most authentic tradition of “Made In Italy” alive.
Below is Doriano De Rosa at work in his own section of the De Rosa factory, as the son of Ugo De Rosa he shares the same DNA for his passion of bicycles. He defines himself as “very much in love” with his work and his work consists of being the sole builder of titanium frames leaving the De Rosa factory. You get the feeling you’re buying more than just a bike from De Rosa, a lot more has gone into the production of their frames. From the drawing board to the production they have the theory that the evolution of the product must go step by step with tradition.
Check out Dorian De Rosa at work below, and he only builds approximately 100 frames per year.
