Out playing on the roads used by several big pro races in Belgium, including The Tour of Flanders.

I thought I’d give you a rough idea of what the cobbles are like, you just can’t understand from watching it on TV. I learnt that much during my short stay in Belgium this year. They’re just nuts, even after a short while on the cobbles you start to feel it. Well I did but then again I’m not the most muscular fella up top.

The day was a little damp and hitting a few of the cobbled hills early, it was a little on the tough side. And I can asure you that you wouldn’t want to come off on them. But it dried out and they became not as fearsome.

My hat (or helmet) goes off to the pro’s out there that make them look easy. I hope the video gives you a rough idea on how hard they can be. So rock n cobble away folks!
