Good tyres & excellent customer service

I bought a pair of these in 2012 for use as summer tyres, however after around 200-300 miles use I noticed the sidewalls of the tyres we're beginning to split (multiple micro cracks along the full circumference).
I pretty much immediately replaced them with another competitors tyres & wrote to Vredestien describing the issue along with photo's. not long after this Vredestien replied indicating that the tyres exhibited a defect and would be replaced free of charge after proof of purchase.
This alone made me want to stick with Vredestien as a trusted, open and honest manufacturer - which is what you want when you are descending at high speeds on thin strips of rubber!
I have experienced the same defect on other tyre manufacturers before but received not even a reply to register the fact that I had brought this to their attention.

I love racing on these tyres.
They are fast. My confidence in the wet improves because the grip.
I haven't had a puncture after having gone through 3 pairs already.

Really good grip on all conditions.
5I have been using these tyres for more than a year and I amb really satisfied with them. The grip is great even in wet conditions and the puncture resistence is better than most high-end tyres. The durability is great (about 6.000Km) considering it is almost a racing tyre.

I ride all year in various conditions and have found these tyres the best balance of weight/performance. Not as pliable as a race tyre but handles much better than an "enduro" tyre and appears to last just as long..
I like the way they wear as well, 4000's wear a bit square which impact's handling.Corsa's wear fine but they are more pricey and feel a fraction less pliable.
I get 5k on a rear and perhaps 6k+ on the front as you would expect.
I am a convert, these are my default tyre selection now, keep stocking them PBK I'll be back for more.

5I have used these for training and a bit of racing....and although I would say they are a training tyre they are good for the longer distance race as well...all in all a good quality durable tyre....well worth their price!!
