Not Happy

2

I am thoroughly disappointed with my recent purchase of Vittoria Rubino Pro tyres. My first ride with them was on October 10th and my last ride on them was mid January. Or rather, it was half a ride as I had to walk most of the way home. The same tyre let me down a few days ago, some 150km from home resulting in an early finish and a long car journey home whilst everyone else enjoyed their ride. I have worked out that I have done 2050km on these these tyres on what must be some of the smoothest, cleanest roads in the world. Yet the tyres are now so thin that I have no option but to put them in the bin and change back to Continentals. Never again Vittoria.

Nice tires

5

These tires seem to really grip in the turns, even in wet conditions. I went from some old 18mm kevlar tires that I had for ages to these. The ride is much more comfortable and feels much more secure. I don't know why, but they feel faster and easier to climb with as well. The 150 TPI means I can keep them rather hard, which probably helps with reduced rolling friction.

vittoria rubino 25mm tires

2

Hi my review so far for the tires:- I have had the tires for a few weeks now and have covered over 750 miles, the tire Pros: 1.Grip very well 2.Good Training Tires 25mm 3.Excellent Price 17.99 each 4.Only two punctures so far which is good for this time of USA season (Goat heads) Cons: 1.A bit to heavy, have to work harder to maintain my 21mph average on most of my rides. 2.The tires feel a bit wollowy and side walls feel like the rear wheel doesn't have enough air in it after around 7 miles or so, (at present 90 degrees here in California), haven't had that problem before with any other tire used, My tire pressures are 110psi my weight is 180lbs with Colnago V1R bike using Mavic CXR 60 clincher wheel set

Been running these for years and never disappointed. Clydesdales need a high psi and you also get high tpi. Can't go wrong.

I ordered the tires and I received them ca. 2 weeks after. Another perfect match between your product and my needs.

Love these tires. Just switched to 25's for a more comfortable ride with no loss in performance.

Great as always

Just got a batch of these before they get unavailable . They are replace by the new graphene model a lot pricier and supposedly better then older model. The last 5 years I rode a lot if miles on these and not always on clean road and they do the great work. They are really reliable and last really long. I don't understand why they no longer support these great tire for the new model. On Web sites the recent testing of the graphene don't show clear advantage over the classic one. When it's not broken why fix it . My two cents
