My wife and I have been using the Panaracer Gravel King SK tyres for a few years now. We have been very pleased with their performance and ride feel. We put a fresh pair of these on both of our touring bikes before starting a 2 month European trip. After over 3000 km of all sorts of roads, gravel and forest trails, the tyres still had good tread. We kept riding them for another 1000km before the rear tyres were showing about 50% wear.

Won't be able to try these out till spring now; it's studded tire season here in Canada for a few months. Tires look nice though.

buyer beware..

Tires come from the UK. I pay 20 for shipping then additional 36 for duties. Thought I'm buying from Canada I can't even say anything about the tires yet as I don't have them but I'm sure they're good.

Just got them and got into gravel riding (I ride lots of road/mtb). They are awesome - great grip and I actually rode them through part of our local mtb park without flatting!

Great tires. I have them on my all road bike and just picked up a set for my wife. The sure grip and easy rolling are noticeable over other tires I’ve tried. I m using tubes presently but plan to try tubeless. They do require massive effort to fit onto the rim. The first time I tried I broke 2 tire levers. Try a tire bead jack if you experience same

Gravel King SK 35

Installed these on a Specialized Diverge Comp E5. This is the aluminum version with the Future Shock and a max tire size of 38. The stock tires on the bike were essentially 30 road tires with poor off road grip. I opted to go with 35s and recently tested them on a ride that was a mix of tarmac, dirt, mud, washboard, and loose rock. I was very pleased with the overall performance, both on and off road. A good mix of speed and stability. Please remember to wipe your frame down after riding these, they do spray. Please note that this review is based on 1 ride, and I am primarily a roadie. The mud I rode through was not heavy.

I bought these tires in a 35mm for my 2016 diverge a1 and the tires barely fit. I have a pair of schwabe cx 35mm tires and they fit my frame with room to spare. The tires are really nice and roll very fast but be careful with sizing.

Who needs a Gravel Bike with these tyres?

Bought the 26mm tubed version for my Giant TCR advanced Pro 0 road bike. I run 25mm tyres on the road and wasn't sure about the clearance in my front forks. The 26mm are 26mm in diameter and run great! The small knobbles on the centre line of tyre means it runs great on smooth surfaces, and the larger knobbles on the edge of the tyre grip well in the corners and in looser stuff. The sidewalls feel thick and solid. Did a 60km dry gravel ride on Sunday with a couple of mates who have gravel-specific bikes with large diameter tyres. All I did was swap in these 26mm tyres on my roadie. Once I got my confidence up, I had no problem keeping up on twisty, fast downhills, and my light road bike gave me an advantage on the uphills! No scary moments or skids. I went with 80psi to reduce the chance of pinch-flats, could maybe go a fraction lower.
