Great all Mountain

On my 5th set of these tires, the speed for the aggressive tread is good, braking traction is little off in rear compared to others, great up front. But i have found them to be most predictable traction of everything i have tried- that list is long. Type of riding, enduro, downhill, chunk, mud, dry, Hiro dirt. You name the dirt I’ve rolled these tires over it. This is the tire combo i will run in California enduro series Emtb pro class. I run a rear up front in chunk for added pinch protection as rear has heavier case then the front. This does seem to slightly sacrifice loose off camber corner grip. You can get away with low air pressure and still hammer without big risk of rim or tire pinch flats. 18-20psi in chunk conditions. Rear tire if you run high pressures will fail at the bead, have had 3 fail now with less then 100 miles at 40psi. The cord rips through the tire bead and goes off with a bang- party over. You don’t need more then 25 with a core to protect your rim in tough conditions. Only run higher then 30 without a core to stop me from burping tire in corners. I found they work best on wide internal width rims. 35mm or wider in rear and 32-35 up front. My personal fav setup is 35 internal front with 29er and 40 internal rear on 27.5 with. The 2.8 32 and 35 with 2.6’s. I would rate them 5 stars but having 3 fail with 90% or better tread due to bead failures i knocked rating down!
