Skinny
4Good grip and surprisingly plush but these are way skinnier than the GP4000s that I took off, both 25mm. Had I known I would have Gone with 28mm.

5I've got a couple thousand Km in my first set of Conti 5000s now and my experience so far has been good. They seem to wear a bit better / harder than the 4000s so I think I'll get some more Km out of them. The puncture resistance seems good, I've pulled out a few sharp objects that have lodged in the tyre when cleaning it after a ride and haven't actually had a flat yet, but I can't judge if they're better than the 4000s in that regard or not yet. But on the whole seems like a non-controversial, good update to an already solid tyre.

5First pair of GP 5000. Roll great and feel very fast. Much easier to get on my wheels and they fit perfectly for a more aerodynamic profile. Great price and easy shipping form ProBikeKit!

4An improvement on the 4000 with regard weight and sizing. I was initially caught out by the noticeable reduction in sizing, they are much smaller than the 4000s and look tiny on a 17mm rim. If I’d have known this I would have ordered the 25s. The 4000s look like balloons compared to these. So far the tyres perform very well, are sticky and roll well. They’re a harsher ride than the 4000s though, but appear to have a more race like appearance similar to the grand sports (which are less than half the price). Too early to comment on puncture resistance or sidewall durability.

5I've had them a couple months now. I replaced my 4000 with these tires. Relatively easy to put on the rims. No more difficult than any other Tire I've had. Vittoria's, Michelins, and others. I noticed no difference in Comfort. At 144 lb I run them at around 90 PSI. I've already set about a dozen PR's with these tires. Very happy with them!
