Excellent tyre
5Really pleased with these new GP5000. Some reviews I read said these were tricky to fit ? Didn’t find this at all they went on easy. Great quality and feel really planted to the road surface in all conditions so far Great tyre and service cheers

Go Faster
5The GP 5000s are a great and affordable upgrade. I went from stock Kenda Kriterium 25c tires to a set of Gran Prix 5000 and I could feel the difference with the low rolling resistance and weight. It felt noticeably easier to accelerate from a stop and easier to get up to speed. My average ride speed went up about 1-2 km/h depending on how hard of an effort I was putting out. My max avg speed previously was 29.6 km/h which was going pretty hard trying to hit 30. Only had 3 rides over 29 km/h before the switch. After switching to the GP 5000s, I had 13 rides over 29+ km/h and 8 of them at 30-31 km/h avg (I also upgraded to a full carbon bike from aluminum shortly after which also helped). No way I'd ride on stock tires again from this point on!

Conti 5K
5I would only use the 4K's then I tried these when they came out. Great grip in the rain and they do feel faster.

Continental 5000 tires
5A great product Continental tires have never let me down very durable performance tires and at a very good price point for a set of 2 tires. Probikekit came through.... nice company.

Sublime
5The road feel, the bite in the corners, the lower drag coefficient, hard as nails but soft as a puppy. These badboys are sublime! Actually, they’re just decent tyres, go get ‘em.

Great customer service
4So far so good, time will tell how well these tires do compared to the other tires that I have tried. Basing it on my experience with the GP4000S, the centre wears very quickly in comparison to the sides. I've squared off a few of them in comparison to the Michelins or the Mavics. I will say however, I have had less troubles with the sidewalls of the Conti's. The Michelins, Mavics & Schwalbe tires all had fraying of the sidewalls which makes me very nervous. I had an incident with a Schwalbe tire where I was standing at my LBS and the sidewall popped, instantly deflating the tire. The scary thing was, I was literally going down a hill at over 60 km just a few minutes earlier. Since then, I have been very nervous about any signs of wear on tires. All the Conti's I have used, I have not had sidewall issues. From Gatorskins, 4Season, GP4000, GP4000S and now the GP5000. I do notice it sounds different though, nothing horrible, just different. I am hoping I will get longer life out of the GP5000 though. Saying this, my Gatorskins and 4Seasons still looked brand new after many years of use. I know the GP5000 is a racing tire so the centre material is softer to provide better grip at the same time, good rolling resistance. I am sure I will be happy with them, especially knowing they are built well. What I would like to highlight is the customer service I received from the PBK customer service team. I spoke with Vlad, Conner & Stuart (they pitch in on all inquires together) over an error I had made and they worked with me throughout to make it right. I am a very happy customer and will continue to buy and recommend PBK to all my biking buddies. They were amazing!
