long-lasting performance
4Finish Line's Dry Teflon lube, a favorite among mechanics for its long-lasting performance, has recently been reformulated. It's now easier to apply, resists rust better, and lasts even longer, especially in wet conditions—although it's still best for use in dry, dusty climes. The lube goes on wet and dries on the chain, preventing it from picking up road grit, prolonging the life of your drivetrain, and increasing the time you can wait between lubrications.

doesn't last long enough
1At first it works great and the chain is really smooth and quiet but after two or three hours of riding it is no longer working and needs to be reapplied. It may work for short mountain bike rides since it doesn't attract much dirt but on the road bike I need something that lasts longer.

love this lube
5This lube is great for regular servicing of a road bike. It goes on wet to help penetrate the chain's rollers, then sets up dry to help prevent excessive dirt and grime from being attracted to the chain (thus helping to keep you from constantly needing to clean the chain). I do apply it a little bit more regularly than I do with wet lube, but not to any large degree. I like this little bottle because it doesn't take up much room in my race day bag.
