Great saddle
5Just spent 3 hours on this saddle and I feel I could go for 3 more. The saddle fits well and feels good. I have always been impressed with Selle Italia products.

5Simply put, this Selle Italia Flite 1990 Bicycle Saddle is the best saddle I have ever had. This is the saddle I have on all six of my bikes. I have tried many other saddles over the years but none have reached the level of comfort I want when riding 100 plus miles a day.

5I should have started using this Selle Italia Flite 1990 Bicycle Saddle 20 years ago. The Selle Itialia rep had come around to promote IDMatch, so I submitted my data and this one came out on the short list. The list got shorter when I saw the new Flite Team Edition sporting truncated side skirts, and I wanted side skirts to reduce chafing back there, so I pulled the trigger for the 1990. A little wider than the Arione I'd been using, but long, firm, and almost as light, it's exactly what I needed. And the cover is real leather!

5It's always good to know that companies listen to their customers. With the re-release of this original Flite saddle, Selle Italia will make a lot of cyclists happy, and I'm one of them. Comfortable, light, and great looking, this older design is as good as any out there today.

I have 3 road bikes, my newest has my 22 year old Fllite on it. I bought one of the newer Flites, didn't like it all that much. I recently found out the original is available.
I bought a second original Flite a couple of months ago, and am now am ordering a third.
Classic saddle
5I've used this model saddle for 10 years, the reproduction is almost identical to the original. I now have one on each of my bikes. It's a firm ride but very comfortable once setup.

5I have a whole bunch of the original ones from the 90s and I like how they are firm but buckles in so its very comfortable for racing road mtb or just cruising around. My saddle, Ive been riding it for years and it is beat up but I still swear by it.

5I've had this saddle for 7 seasons now. It went from a high-end Trek to an entry-level aluminum bike to a cross-country bike and always satisfied me. Also tried the newer Flite versions (Flite Kit Carbonio and Flite Team Edition), and the "old model" feels just as good, maybe a little bit wider.
