This is a beautifully designed and engineered seatpost. It's completely hassle-free to attach the saddle initially, and it has the simplest, easiest to use, adjustment mechanism I've ever seen. The clamp design is brilliant too and gives greater fore-aft flexibility than any other seatpost I've owned. My one complaint is the weight. It has a claimed weight of 190 gms for the 31.7mm x 330mm size. I bought the smaller 27.2mm x 330mm size, so I was expecting a weight of maybe 180 gms. I immediately knew something was off because it felt significantly heavier than the 192 gm seatpost I was replacing. Putting it on the scale revealed it to be a whopping 242 gms... not even in the ballpark to the claimed weight. I attribute it to the oversized clamp hardware, but it's almost as if the post was initially spec'd with alloy or titanium hardware and was changed to steel without thought to updating the spec. information. For me, it meant I added 50 gms of weight to my bike, and were it not for this discrepancy the post would absolutely get a 5-star rating from me, as it's brilliantly designed and looks great, too.
