The Speedplay Light Action Stainless Steel Pedals boast dual-sided entry, which allows you to simply step down and go, whilst the self-locating cleat design makes the pedals easy to find just by feel. With a free float that doesn't feature spring recentring tension to eliminate knee strain, the pedals have precision bearings, a large, comfortable cleat platform and provide unbeatable cornering clearance. Compatible with any shoe that has a three or four hole mount, they also have an in-built grease port for easy bearing lubrication. - L.M.

I bought these pedals from probikekit because they were the cheapest on the net. This combined with free next day delivey made for a pretty unbeatable deal. As for the pedals, worth every penny. I'd just recommend the coffee shop cleat covers as well otherwise I can't see your cleats lasting too long.
The cleats are expensive and clumsy to walk in, but the system itself is pretty light, the bearings silky and easy to regrease, and the slim stack height gives you tons of cornering clearance. The real distinguishing characteristic, though, is tons of tension-free float.
While the Light Actions are pitched as 'hybrid' pedals, most leisure riders would be far better off with a walkable pedal/shoe combo. That said, they offer a unique free-float feeling unlike any other. The low-stress float is great for problematic knees, but we found that it's not ideal for heavy sprinting because you can drift in the Light Actions too much. They're a good combination of strength and low weight and have a grease port for maintenance.
