Ultegra Pedals Rule

Excellent product. Look great, light, well balanced. ProBikeit had the best price and good timely delivery, and I got a free set of cleats as well!

Ultegra Pedals

Just upgraded my pedals. What a comfort, and ease of use - clipping in/out. The shoe support is wide enough; the pedal itself is light, considering it's an alloy. Although I recently took advantage of PBKs offer on 6800 ultegra, I decided that last year's pedal (6700) will be more than sufficient. Couldn't be happier, and with all honesty, I do not have any complaints.

Fantastic

My first ever SPD pedals, should have purchased a set years ago! Platform for my foot is a excellent size, fits like a glove. With probikes's discount it was a steal. Would highly recommend.

Ultegra 6700 pedals ,alloy

I love these pedals and have switched over from another brand. The cleat provides a much more secure surface when walking in road shoes and I feel distributes pressure better across the ball of the foot. These are easily engaged with the more expensive versions having a heavier release tension. Across different bikes I have three versions. The 540 road , these alloy Ultegra and the Carbon 6800 Ultegra. They all work well with weight being the greatest variation. I can't draw a great distinction between these alloy pedals and the carbon ones. These (alloy) were maybe better value than the carbon and have a heavier engagement and release than the light action 540 pedals.

Long lasting pedal

This is my second set of 6700 pedals. The pedal itself is long lasting and easy to maintain. The wide body creates an excellent platform for power distribution. I find the SPD-SL the fastest and easiest clip in around. The new metal plate on the pedal proves to be a long lasting replacement to older models plastic foot plate. Very easy to take apart and repack with grease.

durable

The contact area is broad on the Ultegra pedals so your feet don’t rock when you ride out of the saddle, while a replaceable stainless steel plate on the alloy body adds durability.Clipping in is straightforward with a good, healthy clunk letting you know when you’re engaged. Getting the spring tension equal between the pedals is simple too, thanks to a little indicator on each one.

Carbon Stalwarts

With a lightweight carbon-reinforced body mated to shimano's simple robust design - which features replaceable wear plates, easy-to-service bearings and hardwearing cleats - it's no wonder that shimano pedals have quickly become one of the most popular choices.

Great pedals for the price

I've always used Shimano pedals I've used PD540, PD6600 and PD6700. The PD6600 and PD6700 is great that they have the metal bit rather than the plastic ones in PD540 or earlier model of Ultegra and Dura Ace pedals. I've worn through a few of the plastic bits on my PD540 and starting to wear though to the aluminium pedal body. It's nigh impossible to find the plastic bits as well. Most shop never heard of anyone ordering the plastic bit so they had to go back to the distributor to order them. The summary is that this pedal (PD6700) have a metal wearing but and will last for ages, if you ever need to replace it.
All in all, a great pedal, but quite a price jump compare to PD5700.

great

out of the box the pedals are smooth and are light with a nice wide body for great power transfer. The adjustable tension is great and also easy to clip in and out

Great Performance, Ignore the Price!

Ignore the complaints about price! Though it is high, the bountiful discounts and coupons provided by PBK already reduce it to an "acceptable" price. It is also available all over a reduced price... Just need to look.

The product works very well considering the large surface area. At first it may take a little bit of adjusting the cleats so that you can easily clip out and still feel comfortable. There is no fore-aft movement when everything is bolted down. Bearings turn smoothly.
Bomb proof; you'll have it for years to come. Only small downside is it may seem a bit "heavy" but that's exaggerating...
