5This is my 2nd pair of Shimano yellow cleats, had also had a pair of blue but they were too tight. The yellow gives me just enough wiggle room to feel secure yet not completely locked in. The pair I'm using now is 2-3 years old and the yellow parts are beginning to disappear but there is no problem with getting in or out, and they still provide a secure ride, have never disengaged unless I wanted them to.

5Was able to snag a great PBK offer and got three pairs of Shimano SPD-SL cleats... because I have 3 pairs of road shoes but ALWAYS find I'm needing a new pair (of cleats) and the LBS isn't open.

5Got these at PBK as they are double the price in Cdn dollars including taxes in Canada no brainer here. too bad they do not last long Got covers for them to make it last at least half a season Should cost a dollar or 2, it just a little piece of plastic You can sell at a discount just remove the screws and metal sliders as we all have plenty and sell at a discount.

3I thought I would try road cycling shoes after riding with CX race shoes for several years, hoping they would be smoother entry and exit. They were not. Serviceable but small weight difference wasn't really worth the change, and exit is actually harder.
