I now have these on several road bikes. Yes I have read some comments on them being heavy but for the average road rider that is minor. I replaced a set of Shimano SPD road pedals with the M324. It's nice to be able get on the bike for whatever reason and ride with any type of shoe. For normal riding the SPD functionality is there. Having them on a gravel bike is a great option giving you a platform for a place where one doesn't want to be clipped in.

Commuter Pedals

I use these for commuting 10 miles each way to work. They take some getting used to but the efficiency gain was noticeable and well worth the change. I like the flexibility of having both functions available especially to get across numerous intersections for a commute. I probably would not use these on a road bike as I prefer the other style for long uninterrupted rides. They seemed easy to install and adjust although I have a personal mechanic so for me it was really easy. My wrench seemed to have no trouble with the install!

Great if you can't decide whether to be in clips or touring. Also gives you the choice when out on a ride to do both providing you have cleated shoes on
