5Electronic shifting may be the future, but cabled shifting works just fine with these cables! If you have Campy components (and why wouldn't you?) these cables are a must. I stocked up on these when they were on sale figuring that once electronic shifting takes off, these will get more expensive.

The Campagnolo Ultra Cable Set is a great set of cables. I honestly haven't tried many other brands to compare, but the several Campagnolo Cable sets have never given me a reason to try something new. The set is affordable and comes with everything you need except ferrules. They last a long time with low friction and just work. One test of a great product is one that disappears in the background because it just works without any hassle - the Campagnolo Cable set is one of those products.
I have looked into using other brands of cables, but the unique shape of the shift cable head makes some non-Campy brands a poor fit. With the Campagnolo brand you never have to worry about fit or performance. They are a great set of cables.
