The Shimano ST-6870 features Di2 technology shifting for easy and precise control - just a light touch, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear. Programmed automatic motion at the touch of a switch makes this derailleur quick, smooth and effortless to shift.
The removal of traditional mechanical cables in favour of electrical wires not only eliminates poor shifting caused by contaminates, corrosion and stretching, but provides effortless gear shifts.

Good that I can find GS cage for DI2 setup as I wanna install 11-32T cassettes in my new bike which will be mainly used for climbing. I admit I am not a good climber and I am addicted to electronic shifting. That's no way to back to mechanical shifting. The Ultegra Di2 setup will be a good solution and I think it will be as good as Dura Ace (except the weight and the noise it would producing while shifting). Hopefully this can be an option when selecting the groupset so that I don't need to buy the component separately.
