Good monitor

I've used this a few times now with a Garmin 800 and no problems. Picks up the monitor quickly. Good product.

garmin hr

older style HR strap, much better than you would expect, had two of the new comfy soft strap types and both failed within a couple of months, but this seems fine at the moment and lot better on than I expected.

Comfortable & Accurate

5

This is a great and well designed product from Garmin. I have been wearing this regularly for over 2 yrs and never had issues - once it is on & adjusted properly it's practically Un-noticeable.

Good choice, but pricey

4

It came with my Edge 500 and I am quite happy with it, it never loses signal and it is quite comfortable. However, there is only a small difference in price with the Premium version, which is much more comfortabe.

Comfortable

4

Came with the Edge 500 package I bought. Comfortable and very accurate. Don't have the same issues I had with an older Polar model that used to be heavily affected by wind/friction.

Durable, accurate and comfortable

5

I have two of these straps, and I really like this particular version. I also tried the new "premium" strap and didn't like it nearly as much. These straps never drop out on me, and I think they are more comfortable than the others (to the point that I sometimes forget I have it on - although it could be that I'm just used to them now...).

I use one strap for my indoor bike and the other for my outdoor bike, and the batteries both lasted around 7 months for each (replacement batteries are cheap as well). Use a coin when you replace them as opposed to a screwdriver to prevent marring the plastic (my fault!).

Comfortable, Fine

4

I don't have much experience with HR straps, but the Garmin seems to work just fine. I'm fairly small and I don't have any problems with adjusting it to a proper fit. The batteries run seemingly quickly - about 6 months with nearly daily use. Overall, I am satisfied.

Comfortable and Extremely Accurate

5

This HR Monitor is very accurate. I have compared it to Polar and other monitors, and the result was accurate in comparison. The strap is comfortable and washable, which is the best part.

If you are having problems picking up a signal, try using electrode gel, or I've also been told aloe vera gel works. Another cheaper option is to just use saliva, and it works really well.

Very comfortable despite the large rubber band

5

Like the title says, never had discomfort while using this compared to the newer "deluxe" soft band. Doesn't have the heart rate spiking issues the new transmitter either
