The Shimano 105 CN-5701 Bicycle Chain - 10 Speed boasts a directional design with specifically shaped inner and outer plates to optimise shifting over the chainset and the cassette, helping to prevent the chain from getting stuck. The inner plate will give better contact with the gears for smoother shifting, efficient pedalling and increased rigidity, whilst the chromising treatment on the link pins and heat treatment of the rollers, pins and plates ensure the ultimate in durability. Boasting a corrosion-resistant grey finish, the chain is to be used with a double chainset only. - L.M.

Exactly What You'd Expect
I don't there's much to be said about this. It's smooth, it's a workhorse, and it won't break down as quickly as Ultegra or Dura Ace. Sure, it weighs fractionally more, but I can tell you I'm definitely not race weight. So I bought 2 of them.

Great price this is why I bought this chain, but Shimano does not give a master link with their chains. Will not buy any Shimano chains in the future, I hope the KMC master link works well with this chain. I think I will stick with KMC chains.

the 105 10 spd shimano chain from pro bike kit is a superb chain and real value for money but a solid hard wearing product made using the very best materials.
