I've used these for ages and never had any problems... They've been used for thousands of miles on my winter bike on which the chain gets removed and cleaned weekly...Report this review
Bought these to go with the two Dura-Ace 7901 chains I purchased in the same order. So much easier way to join chains and with less chance of misaligning the pin. Removal of the chain ( for cleaning ) is so much easierReport this review
A great piece of mind item to have when you ride, such an easy way to fix a broken chain.Report this review
You should always have a missing link like these in hand. Great to link together a chain or take it apart. A bit tricky to take off of chain first time not having a tool, but after that its easy, and the missing link becomes a bit more cooperative.Report this review
Love this product as it makes my life much more easier. The the price it's a no brainer!Report this review
This missing link is a a great and simple way to join two ends of a chain together. It makes chain installation and removal (for those times when you really want to give your bike a thorough bath) easy as pie. I also carry one of these in my saddle bag just in case of emergency.Report this review
Chain joining at its easiest. This doesn't rust easy and it is fast to install.
Saddlebag essential : I carry 2 or 3 pairs of these, plus a chain tool.
I was glad I did the day my chain snapped, then when I looked I realised that a couple of other plates were about to snap too - chain from a faulty batch.
I was able to cut-out the damaged sections with the chain tool, rejoin with these missing links, and ride home rather than having to walk...
When you change your chain, of course you get another pair - worth keeping the old ones as spares for the saddlebag....
Of course if you've just got a new bike, you'll either have to buy a spare chain or two and keep in the cupboard until you need to replace, or you can just buy the links as here...
