smoothing the changes

5

Bought to replace heavy and steppy original fit climbing cassette .i can feel the weight saving and the bit of added punch it seems to add to the wheelwhen shifting .bought the 25/12 caters for most situations around my way nothing super steep or long and now the gaps in shift are small the extra low gears shaving good time with little or no extra effort

The sram pg1070 cassette give the very smooth performance and it's very quiet. I'm very satisfy.

excellent cassette

5

Like all SRAM products, a very nice quality cassette. That is not to diminish Shimano as they too are very good.

Why go for the Flagship when you have this.

5

For a midrange model cassette this has to be the best value for money cassette around. Forget all this nonsense about lightness just for the sake of burning a hole in one's pocket. This cassette is light enough, it is robust and will give you everything that the Flagship 1090 can deliver and is smoother and quiter than it's dearer sibling and lots of dollars saved.

Best bang for your buck!

5

I have this installed on my ZIPP 404 wheels and after a few hundred miles it's still going strong. It is about 50g lighter than my PG 1050 but 60g heavier than the flagship OG 1090 model (XG1090 is even more lighter but costs upwards of $350USD). For the price this is the best bang for your buck in the SRAM line up!

Good ratio options and nice cassette

4

The 1070 is great choice for the middle-ground. It's nice to be able to choose a very specific ratio set - which was 11-26 for me.

It shifts very well, and is a nice weight in comparative terms.

I'm very tempted to try the 1090 next - much lighter.

Works fine

The picture shows OG 1070 cassette, not PG 1070.
The weight of 11-28T is 241 gram and in my case works with Shimano RD6600 rear derailleur.

Great Shifting, Fantastic Price, Great gearing options

5

I have one of these cassettes on my road bike, and I have purchased another for my tri bike. I bought the 11-26, and have really liked the gear ratio, as it offers speed for the downhills, and good options for climbing(couldn't find the 11-26 ratio in another cassette) . PBK has the best price around, good deal for a great cassette.

great Value

5

Yes a little heavier than the Red (1090) cassette but quieter and cheaper in price... there's many more ratio choices when buying this cassette and it looks good also..I believe everyone must own this cassette on their training wheel set

Good Value

5

The PG-1070 cassette offers very good value. It is cheaper, easier to clean, and quieter than the more expensive 1090 (Red) cassette.
