Best value for cassette. If you are not counting grams, this is as good functionally as a Dura Ace one for a fraction of the price.
Not musical - but A cassette that is music to your ears - a wonderful sweet performance with every change :
I purchased the cassette to build my caad7 cannondale. I picked the 105 because I want to ride it smooth and not too noisy. And it's true. The gears selected as smooth as expected.
The 105 cassette is equal to higher line ones at the sacrifice of only a small amount of weight and the benefit of a much better price. It's very durable and shifts extremely well. Unless a few grams and snob appeal is all-important, I see no benefit to anything else.
Awesome for my commuter bike without spending a fortune.
Gears feel more crisp, coming from an Tiagara Cassette I went with the same 10 speed, different cog sizes, from 12-30 to 11-28, since I really was not using 30 on most of my climbs and I do live in a hilly area (Lake Tahoe) Only reason I got these was due to a new set of wheels I got and needed another cassette to swap wheels, I am glad I went with these, I can feel and hear the change and gearing. I do recommend it.
Their shiny & round & they make the wheel turn.... Well ok, I found assembly straight forward, and with a bit of fiddling to find the wide gap, pretty much went on no problem. Just need to try a couple of long rides
smooth shifting, fairly lightweight, great price on probikekit, great value for my conversion to 10 speed.
Item well-priced and typically Shimano quality. Original order did not arrive and after email correspondence a replacement was promptly shipped - hence 4 stars. Thank you PBK.
