Excellent brake pads
5I use these pads on my lightweight-cnc-brakes and the braking power is very good. The pads also wear slowly.

These are one of the best brake pads on the market and the price they are offered at is unbeatable.
They are great in the rain and I instantly noticed better braking power when I switched these pads in.
Progressive ... fun!

I have used these now for 10 months, but not in catastrophically wet conditions. It rarely rains where I live, and if it does, I stay in doors. I have only used: 30 year old Campagnolo brake blocks, which are like rocks and not advisable; Shimano Dura-ace 7900 and the Green Swisstops. (Aluminium rims)
I have never been an adventurous descender or demonic free-style bike rider, but there is such a big difference between these brake blocks and the Dura-ace is that now I find it FUN braking before corners and setting my line before and in the corners. These brake blocks are very progressive: squeeze a little and get a little braking, squeeze a lot and get a lot of braking - but most importantly there is an excellent GRADATION of braking force in between. The compound feels forgiving.
I do not know how long they will last but they have worked for the 10 months and I just snug the brake adjustments up every now and then.
I will buy them again.

GB
A nice upgrade
5I had some of the plain old stock Shimano brake pads on my bike and coming down a hill the other day, I realized I was pulling the brakes but I wasn't stopping and right there it was when I figured out I needed new brake pads. Surprisingly the old ones weren't worn down but it just wasn't stopping me any more. So on go the new ones, really easy to put on and they work brilliantly, no trouble stopping in the rain, and no troubles with power modulation.
Report this reviewExcellent Brake pads
5These brake pads are excellent in the dry and wet even compared to Dura Ace 7900. They also don't leave that black mess on your rims after riding in the rain. I used a set in the French Alps and they give you great feel and confidence on the descents.
Report this reviewnice pads for your expensive aluminum rims
5Quality is excellent, compared to Shimano and Koolstop pads these feel and modulate much better, I expect them to last shorter but the shimano pads on my 6600 Ultegra calipers felt like rocks eating into the rim (some claim the new Shimano pads have improved now), Koolstop salmon/black were nice in the beginning but hardened over time. The price is higher than average but if you like your wheels to last longer and brake with confidence it is worth to pay the extra money.
Report this reviewGreat Pads for all weather
5I live up in the Pacific Northwest where through the winter we get a lot of rain. These are my pads of choice for great breaking in wet or dry weather.
Report this reviewGreat performance out of the box
4Just installed these pads and wow what a difference, great stopping performance. I don't think I realized how badly worn my previous brake pads were until I installed these. They installed easily in minutes and I was pleasantly surprised to see they came with the installation set screws with thread locking compound pre applied.

5I swapped over to the SwissStop after reading several reviews and these have great stopping performance and they do not leave a black residue over the rim in the wet .
