SRAM Force Cycling Caliper Brake Set
Purchased this Caliper Brake Set to replace a standard set that was fitted to my new bike. "Wow" What a difference! Went out on one of my normal cycling routes to test. The route includes some frantic descending where my previous brakes felt inadequate for the purpose. These new ones are great. It allows you to go much faster knowing that the stopping distance is much shorter. Not used these in the wet yet so cannot comment. To sum up a excellent pair of Calipers that bring confidence to your descending at a very good price.

Force
Bought to match the rest of my SRAM Force groupset and replaced a set of Rival brakes. I can't say they're any better at stopping than Rival brakes as I've not yet needed to use them in anger, but the build quality and their dark grey colour are lovely. Mmm shiny... Erm, anyway, the brakes come with Swisstop pads and, unlike the Rival brakes these replaced, have a centering adjustment, which is very useful. I didn't know this when I bought them (I guess I should read reviews....:p) but this definitely helped getting them perfectly aligned when fitting them. Finally, the price was the cheapest on the internet when I ordered from PBK so I reckon these were/are a bargain.

stopping power
I use these as part of a mix/match Force/Red group on my bike. These stop as well as Red (no kidding) but cost a little less, and weigh a little more. Look great, and come stock with SwissStop pads!

Worth every penny
Not only do these calipers look fantastic, but the modulation you get with them is incredible. A great caliper to get to replace non-OEM brakes with. Overall they are a great deal (much cheaper than near-identical Red). Stopping power is of course directly related to the pad compound, but these calipers come with some nice SwissStop pads, so they do the job great (might want to swap out for the green pads for rainy weather though).
