"Give me a brake"
5I had the BR-6800 brake caliber set, front and rear, installed on my older Trek Madone 5.3 with Ultegra 6500 brakes as an upgrade to new wheels and Shimano PD-6800 Ultegra Carbon Pedals. The braking has moved from average to superior, with no wheel chatter. Remember to ensure your wheels are balanced before you start. The initial brake pressure you apply needs to be watched until you get used to the stopping power. No wheel lock-up under hard braking and the feel of the evenness and effectiveness of the stopping power of the pads is delightful. The price point of the BR-6800 Callipers from Probikekit is right in my wheelhouse and should be in yours too, as compared to other manufacturers. The ease of installation, basically a swap-out and bolt on, was without incident and the effectiveness of braking with the BR-6800, rain or shine, is quite remarkable. Well done Shimano, another very good product.

5These breaks went on my bike as an upgrade to 105's. Instantly you can notice improvement in breaking and this gives you confidence to push that little bit harder. They also look nicer in Matt grey. PBK had them at an affordable price so I bought them and I am delighted.

5Silky smooth in both looks and performance, the Ultegra brake is gorgeous. Okay, so the performance benefit over the 105 is only very slight, but it is there all the same, together with a weight saving. Well worth the extra money in my opinion.

5I've just gone from old Sram Red to Ultegra 11 and the braking is a marked improvement - I nearly went over the bars the 1st time I put these on!! Excellent performance!

4I recently purchased a set of Ultegra 6800 brake calipers from Pro Bike online. I've gotten out a few times since the installation and I have to say they are excellent. I upgraded from the standard Tiagra brakeset and I should have changed them out sooner. I was disappointed in my online purchase process for a couple of reasons: I didn't know on the front side that the items would be coming from China and I had to pay a customs charge before they would release my package for delivery; the calipers, although they do their intended job, one came in black and the other in grey. :( Disappointed but not enough to have to go through the trouble of sending them back to get a matching set.

5Excellent braking - much improved over my old 105 set-up. 6800 can reduce the speed with less power than 105 in long downhill . In this part I like best advantage .

5I had recently purchased a new bike that had brakes that didn't match the rest of the 10spd groupset. I decided to upgrade to 11spd and chose the Ultegra 6800 group. The Ultegra brakes are much more powerful than what I had on the bike, and look great too. I am really glad I found these on Probikekit.com!
