Excellent shoes
I struggled to find shoes that were a good fit but these are the best I have found. I have the Shimano R170 size 46 which were good but these are much better. I prefer the soft upper since it doesnt cause me any rubbing or pain in the toes. I also tested the Shimano R171 and thought this wouldn't be very different. These are a much better fit that the R171, are slightly smaller and the heel feels completely different. Feel very good in a sprint and hold the foot well even though I leave the straps on the loose side. I think these shoes are best for a more neutral foot and if you like a toe box with a good amount of space. The arch support is more back than other shoes but this suits my high arches well. I use these with cleat wedges to correct my foot If you find Shimano shoes a good fit for your feet then you will love these. Considering buying a second pair.
