Castelli Inferno Bib Shorts - Black/White

The Castelli Inferno Bib Shorts were created in 2012 after Team Garmin-Sharp's need for protection in the searing heat of Italy in May and France in July. Castelli examined each section of the short and utilised seven different fabrics to create a short that's cool and ready to perform in the most demanding conditions.

The shorts fabric are white-based fabric with sublimation printing on the top. Titanium dioxide, the active ingredient in sunscreen is directly in the fabric to reflect the sun's rays. Every part of the short is made from as open a fabric as possible while also providing sun protection where it's needed, with no transparency on the front or back.

The Inferno Bib Shorts don't just help you stay cool, they also feature different materials for comfort. Abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon fabric on the inner leg is knitted with wicking polyester on the inside to keep you dry. Additional features include GIRO3 elastic at the end of the leg and a Progetto X2 AIR seat pad with a ventilated skin-care layer for breathability. - A.D.
