- 20 rear / 16 front stainless steel bladed straight pull spokes.
- 2-cross lacing pattern improves lateral and torsional rigidity (rear wheel only) for improved rigidity and power transmission.
- Elbow-less spokes make for a strong yet compliant wheel.
- High lateral rigidity is produced with a 3 mm offset asymmetric rim and wide flange spacing.
- The hubs use angular contact bearings designed to cradle the balls giving both radial and lateral support for superior strength and durability in real world riding conditions. They also offer precision bearing adjustment and easy maintenance.
- Labyrinth and contact sealing - low-friction seals effectively shut out water, mud and dirt without affecting rotational smoothness.

Good wheel set for winter
This is not the lightest wheel set. But very decent for winter training considering the price I paid for it. Very happy with these wheels.

Bought at half price and delivered promptly. The wheels can't be faulted. They are true, well tensioned and lighter than a lot of comparable wheelsets. The seals are good and the bearings are easily serviceable without specialist tools...just need a cone spanner and a grease gun. Highly recommended.
awful wheels, even for the price
I ordered a pair last year: both wheels had flats spots (one was at the rim joint) and rear hub was pretty rough (I had to return the wheelset and get reimbursed, a process which took a long time, and dealing with PBK by email was painful). Buy Mavic Aksium unless there is a huge sale on RS10 or you are going to be disappointed.
