Awesome Bars!
I was pretty desperate to get a carbon FSA bar but I simply could not justify the premium. A quick search had me looking at these bars instead. Wow, am I glad I did. These rock! I absolutely love the flat top. However if you have big hands, you may find that these are on the narrow side. Best to try them out somewhere before taking the plunge. Some reviews suggested a small amount of flex in these indicating that they probably would not be the go-to bars for regular sprinters. I've noticed little to no flex but the very flat top probably does lend to some small amount of flex. This was not material to my purchase decision so no concerns here. The drop is ever so slightly longer than on the FSA compact which I ended up liking. There are no issues arranging the shifters to arrive at a nice smooth transition from the top of the bar to the shifter and my hands feel quite comfortable in the drops with brakes within easy reach. Looks-wise, the branded "Z" in the middle looks very mean and race-ready. I've found myself staring at it a few times in admiration. There is not much room on either side of the stem for any handlebar attachments that require a round profile. I'm just able to fit a k-edge Garmin under-mount with some room to spare before the oval profile comes into play.
