The Tour de Yorkshire kicks off on the 28th April and runs for 3 days. The route takes the riders through Yorkshire’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Fountain Abbey and Saltaire) across three competitive stages.
The Jerseys:
Like every cycling tour, there are 4 leader’s jerseys up for grabs: the Leader’s Jersey, the Digital Jersey, the Sprinter’s Jersey and the King of the Mountains jersey.
-
Leader's Jersey
The first rider to cross the line in Scarborough, Stage 3, will be awarded the Leader’s Jersey.
-
Digital Jersey - Sponsored by Dimension Data
The Digital Jersey is a podium jersey which has been voted for by Tour fans on Twitter. The rider that distinguishes themselves as the most aggressive, the rider with the greatest effort and the rider who has demonstrated the best qualities in terms of sportsmanship will be awarded a jersey at the end of each stage.
