At 1230hrs, Saturday, 7 Sept, 2013 i will be taking on the mighty XTERRA England 6 Hour MTB Endurance Race as part of the XTerra England Champs!
My team and I will be racing to do as many laps as possible in the 6hour limit again some of the best teams in the country.
For what feels like the end of the season for me is only the start of the MTB marathon madness that is to follow for the next 6weeks! Im going to have to dig deep and find some legs. I think they must be still there…? Just gota persuade them to wake back up! Im sure the atmosphere and adrenaline with give them the shock they need to take on the mighty 15km lap. The race has attracted some really huge names such as lesley patterson 2x world tri champion and Nico Lebrun former world champion! Im looking forward to sharing this event with such quality athletes. The event will even be on UK TV station Channel 4, and Sky Sports & Eurosport so keep your eyes peeled for my team and I – Torq performace.
Ive never done these games before so not sure what to expect.. So just going to go as fast as i can for as long as i can…?! That will work yeah..?!
