Clothing company Endura have been around for some time now, for the past twenty years they’ve built up a solid reputation for clothing which is well designed, lasts and does the job at a reasonable price. Founded and still based in Scotland they’re certainly in the right place to test their foul weather gear!

Product testing and development is in the very capable hands of the Pro Endura Racing Team as well as Endura sponsored MTB, road and track cyclists, not to mention customer feedback! The result of this is a range with some really well thought out products and some industry firsts like their Stealth series – softshell, but completely waterproof garments.

So seeing as we’ve just had a load of new Endura products land, we thought what better time to have a quick look through at some highlights:Cuttle glasses

Cuttle Glasses:

Riding glasses are a must in my opinion, these Cuttle glasses are a great piece of kit.  With photochromic persimmon lenses, they give enhanced definition, perfect for those dull days when you’re not sure what’s what!  Being photochromic as well, they adjust to the varying light levels you inevitably get.  A top, but often underrated piece of kit we reckon!

Gridlock Jacket:

For you hardy souls who relish the winter commute and all those extra treats you can eat as a consequence, the Gridlock Jacket is a fantastic piece of kit.  Both fully waterproof with sealed seams and the usual nice Endura touches, it’s a great mid-weight, suitable for wet commutes year round!  We’re a big fan for the money.

Stealth Jacket:

The Stealth jacket is definitely more than just a conversation piece on a ride. Endura have used manufacturing techniques which sound more suited to building an aircraft than a jacket!  Using the latest ultrasonic welding construction technique and external seam-sealing technology Endura have created the first ever fully waterproof, breathable, soft-shell cycling jacket.  This is definitely a master class in how to make a soft shell jacket that will become your go to piece of clothing, it’s so good Endura scooped a prize at Eurobike for their efforts.

FSs260 bib shorts

FS260 Pro Cycling Bib Shorts:

There’s nothing nicer than pulling on a fresh pair of new bib shorts for the first ride of the new season. The FS260 Pro bib short combines performance with functionality. Although a relatively simple looking short, it utilises performance Lycra to add a supportive stretch whilst a fast wicking interior helps with moisture management.  The 600 series anti-bacterial chamois uses Silver-Dry technology to help keep you feeling fresh and comfortable on those big rides.  I’ve got two pairs of these that are now approaching their third season and they’re still going strong!

Thermolite Bib Knickers:

These bib knickers are perfect for those in between season rides. A Teflon HT treated Thermolite interior insulation, paired with the tried and tested 600 series chamois, make for a comfortable set of 3/4 bib knickers that will  keep off the chill off.  Perfect for Spring and Autumn rides!

Endura Baa Baa Arm Warmers:

Finally, I just had to sneak these little beauties in.  Made from Merino wool, these Baa Baa arm warmers are an absolute steal.  Warm, even when wet, comfortable against the skin and extremely breathable, these odour resistant arm warmers are an absolute must.

So there you go, my very quick pick of the new Endura kit. It’s definitely worth taking a look at the rest of the range here. Are you an Endura fan? Let us know what your favourite piece is!
