This brand new Racing Quattro has been brought in for 2016 with one purpose in mind. They have been designed with a slightly wider rim to facilitate an easier fitting of 25c tyres. This means the rider can benefit from better comfort, better grip and slower tyre wear.
The Racing Quattro Wheelset boasts a deep section clincher profile of 35mm probably the best value aero wheel available. Not only are these wheels aero but Fulcrum have managed to keep the weight of the wheelset down to just 1725g, that's better than many similarly specced shallow section wheels. The Quattro's come with straight pull aero spokes and black anodised nipples coupled with stealth decals to finish off an impressive wheelset. Offering everything from an aero profile to Fulcrum's legendary durability and a competitive weight these are a leading all-round road and triathlon wheelset.
Weight - 1725g

I purchased these on the back of the vast number of reviews stating how good they are - bombproof, lightweight, aero, quicker with lots of PB's. These were bought to replace my Mavic Aksium which came with the bike. Am I the only one who has found these to be slower?!? Completed two of my usually rides and both have been about 1mph slower than normal. They don't feel as though they roll as smoothly or for as long, plus it feels as though I'm having to put more effort in. Same tyres on these as were on the Mavic's, so that's not a factor. Am contemplating putting the Mavic's back on
I bought these an an upgrade to the stock Axis 2.0 wheels that came with my Specialized 2015 Roubaix and wow what a difference. The wheels are strong and light and roll beautifully. I hit eleven Strava segment PB's on my first 50km test ride and am consistently 2-3kmph faster on these wheels. The service from PBK was excellent both in terms of price and (free) delivery times. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Having them for two weeks. Use them as replacement of previous Fulcrum racing 77. Same brand, similar feeling. The biggest difference is the smoothness of rear hub on racing quattro lg.
I got these after the bearings went in my standard edition Giant SR2s. So far so good. Arrived to Ireland within 5 working days. Took them to the LBS top get fitted. Everything was in perfect condition according to the mechanic. I have noticed a smoother ride and easier climbing so far, but It is still early days. I am very happy with the upgrade and for the price I got them for from Pro-Bike.
Having spoken to lots of people about upgrading my bike everyone suggested wheels. These wheels were excellent. Actually made a significant difference to my rides.
I wanted some value Aero wheels as I am not the most powerful rider so cannot justify what the inner carbon tart in me would really like. My bike originally had Vision Team 30's on but having given them over to better half's bike I have struggled on local undulating routes to spin a set of Ultegra wheels as fast. Done a few decent rides now including in exposed crosswind and can thoroughly recommend these for anybody wanting a cost effective first Aero wheelset that are not too heavy but feel stiff and strong. Do not feel the small cost in weight over the Ultegras and seem more accelerative. Front: 810+55+100+250=1215g Rear: 970+60+100+250+280=1660g Wheel+Skewer+ContiTube+MichelinPro4Endurance25mm and in case of rear 280g is a 5800 11-28 cassette
First ride this morning. Set off on my normal route, taking in a very bumpy section of road. What the.... who ironed the road? Paired with Michelin Pro 4 25mm tyres @ 100 psi, these wheels are incredible. My bike is transformed. I don't say this lightly. The only other time I have been so wowed by any bike component was when I started racing on tubs. 200g heavier than my previous wheels, but they seem to accelerate faster and hold onto speed more easily. Definite best buy.
I bought these as a replacement for my old Fulcrum Quatros that have done me proud as an all round hard as nails winter/training wheel. These are slightly lighter only just, than the older version, just as stiff thanks to the 2 - 1 spoke lacing on the rear (similar to the Dura Ace C35's) and they roll smooth and fast from the off. If these new wheels do as well as the older versions did, I will be most happy. Having said that, I only replaced the old ones because the bearings in the rear axle, hub, freewheel and the bearing compression nut gave up the ghost and it was cheaper in the long run just to buy a brand new pair ! I'm 6'1" and 87kg and these wheels have seen two British winters and 5,848.3 miles of hard training miles in all conditions. Breaking surfaces are barely marked, spokes are solid, run true: never needed to be tweeked. AWESOME set of all round bombproof wheels.
