The Zipp 202 is a versatile racing wheel that's an incredible climber. 202 has a history of winning stages, leader's jerseys and climbing up the world's toughest mountains.

202 was Alberto Contador's wheel of choice in almost every stage on the road to victory at the 2011 Giro d'Italia, making it the ideal wheel for any terrain. Zipp triathlete Jan Frodeno won an Olympic gold medal on the 202. Its durability has also been proven with a fourth place finish at Paris-Roubaix.

To reach the base of the climb, the 202 features a 32mm toroidal profile. Developed in the wind tunnel, the wheel can roll on the flats as efficiently as most 45-50mm rims. 202 also features high lateral stiffness to deliver precise handling on difficult descents and improved acceleration.

Every Zipp full-carbon Clincher features an exclusive heat-resistant resin to stop spikes in rim temperature and tyre pressure, which can have an impact on performance and handling. Heat dissipation has been improved so much that Zipp's are the only carbon clinchers to pass stringent European safety tests with no limit on rider weight or brake-pad options. - A.D.
