The Michelin Pro 4 Service Course Tyre provides a high level of performance in any conditions. This tyre provides the perfect blend of sports performance and long-lasting wear. Enhancing the speed, safety and agility, the Pro 4 Service Course tyre also reduces the rolling resistance compared to its predecessor, the Pro 3 Race.
Not only is the Pro 4 Service Course safe, it's also 16% faster when cornering in wet conditions. This is possible thanks to the dual-compound technology with its wider lateral bands for excellent grip at leaning angles, along with the new elastomers and silica for additional shoulder grip. Michelin Pro 4 Service Course sets the standard for high performance, long-wearing tyres. - A.D.

Having used another (German) brand of tyre for both racing, training and commuting for a number of years I was interested to see how the Michelin's compared. They were easy to put on, seem solid and quick. Initial impressions have been favorable.
Love these tyres. Fast and pretty good puncture protection.
I have found these tyres to be very fast, holds excellent in the corners while descending at high speeds.
Good grip and puncture resistance. Oh and also makes your bike look good.
Pretty much the best budget tire out there. No tread, sturdy, durable, grippy, puncture-proof, you name it. It can be a bit of a pain to fit (for a tire with a foldable bead), but no big deal. Highly recommended.
Good grip and roll well. It's too soon to comment on the longevity of these tyres but so far I'm impressed.
Was looking for durable fast grippy tyres to race with. Was not sure if fast tyres made a difference but after racing these on fast descents I have a whole new level of confidence when cornering and racing!
Bought these over Conti GP4000s for a change. Easy to fit, roll well & no nicks or cuts so far from the awful roads by me. To early to comment on longevity, but seems like a good tyre & best price I found on the net.
I've been using Michelins now with each of their incarnations of this tyre. I also use them on my winter bike (buying the older versions at cheaper prices) and find them reliable, hard wearing and grippy in the wet. On summer roads, they roll very well. All in all - a great all round tyre.
These tyres are excellent value for money. Grip in all weather conditions is superb. These are the second set have had this year - moved house and the back wasn't being used, and begun to crack - Probikekit, offered a discount on a new set, so didn't hesitate to buy again. Really good value for money.
great tyre ,easy on and off, corners very well not as lite as some tyres but lasts longer and great for early season races.
Very good tyre, am only 64kg so get good ware out them. Use them in all weather without a problem. Very light.
These are excellent tyres, if a little pricey when they're not on sale. They provide excellent grip and durability, a must when riding on some of the poorly maintained and debris strewn streets of Sydney. Having previously run the Pro 3s on my bikes, i find these are a superior tyre with better ride quality, grip, longevity and puncture resistance.
I would give these tires 5 stars as they are really great. Grip is exceptional, they don't puncture easily and they ride smoothly. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is that they wear rather quickly. I've done about 4000km on them and had to replace my rear as threads were already visible. Thank god I didn't get any puncture. But I reordered the same tires as they perform great. I rather have them wear a bit more but provide the necessary grip than slid off the road on more durable tires.
These tyres are excellent and when on special offer even better
This are some god tyres and at a nice price so fine stuff
Done about 150 miles on the new tyres so far and seem to be going well. First folding tyre I've used so weird to install first time around. Got the knack eventually though. Nice and grippy and its been very wet this week so all good.
These must be the best tyres I've ridden with. I've used Maxxis, Conti, and Michelin lithion tyres but nothing comes close. Great grip come rain or shine! Good durability and good looking too!

Unbelievable value at £15.99, IMO the best tyres for sprain, summer and autumn, come winter just get the Pro 4 grips, simples.
A pair of Pro Race 4 tyres for £32 is exceptional. Delivery was very speedy as usual. Totally satisfied.
A quality product, fast shipping, thank you.
Continues to grip despite wet weather. Gone through corners at considerable speed and yet doesn't feel any slipping of tires. On dry road it continues to grip and roll smoothly. Very pleased with the tires.
Best all round tyre Confindent for cornering
One of the quick set tyres out there. Its a race tyre, but don't expect long life and something bombproof.Go elsewhere. You should get a year out of them.Better than the Pro 2/3, less susceptible to cuts and better puncture protection, and more grip cornering. Easy to put on the rim, did it with my hands, no levers needed! Shop around prices vary greatly. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pro 5 came out though, as these tyres are being heavily discounted at the moment.
This is a really smooth and perfect tire, it is a perfect descending tire and rising tire, the resistance against the road is very low and it is really good doing corners high end performance tire.
Too early to tell how these Pro 4s will do long term, and not been on the bike long enough to test them in all weather conditions, but they seem to have a bit more of all the features that people who buy Michelins like.
I have ridden the best part of 6000 miles this year on one pair of these tyres. They have given excellent grip throughout in both dry and extremely wet conditions. I have now replaced them as I was unlucky to tear one due to a freak nail puncture. I would recommend trying these as they are excellent tyres, good value and will increase your speed due to confidence in them.
These are my standard summer tyres. Use the endurance version over winter.
Bought pro4 tyres 25mm found them to be excellent very easy to fit and ride great only needs 100 psi had Vitoria corsa cx before which we're great but fragile would recommend the Michelin tyres especially in 25mm more comfortable 9/10
There black, they go on the road, they clinch and of course they are the service grade. Great price too.
Great tyre, and at this price silly not to buy. Increased stickiness due to new rubber compunds give even more condfidence in the wet. Almost tempted not to use the tubs these are so good.
This is is best tyre I have ever had. Whilst riding it provides great cornering and low rolling resistans, easy to get on and of the wheel (reynolds) and the price is very good for this tyre.
Unlike Vittoria, Continental and others top brands, the Michelin Pro 4 is w/o a doubt one of one the lowest quality tires. I'm an avid cyclist who's have been riding for many years and many miles, and when I tried the Michelin tires I found them to be one of the worst in the market, given the fact that you're paying for what is supposed to be a high-end tyre. The first day I used them, one of them blew up; I had to get rid of them since I did not want to risk having a serious accident.
Excellent tyres. Quick, grippy, durable and light. Have been riding 25 miles there and back across London once a week all Summer to race at Hillingdon and the only puncture I've actually had was at Hillingdon itself. Rear tyre has started to square off but I do weigh 200lb.... A few nicks in the tread but they seem to be about as cut proof as the Conti 4000s that used to be my standard choice. Have meddled with Ultremos and Vittorias over the last couple of years but these are by far the best. Will be buying again.
I've upgraded from 25 barebone tyre to this Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre. My average speed went up from 27km to 33km. Great job Michelin.
The Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre provide good grip and rolling resistance. They are much better than the Pro3 which always seems to have little nicks in the tyre and which punctures more easily.
Thanks Pro Bike kit. My order arrived and was packaged well. Your prices were unbeatable.
For past 2000 km I was using Pro3 Service Course 23mm with good results. When I switched to Pro4 Service Course 25mm ride comfort and speed definitely improved. Average speed on TT course of 12km that I used to ride improved by 1kmh. Tire pressure now is 1 at the moment lower due to bigger surface area of 25 mm tire significantly contributing to ride quality on rough surfaces.
Rides and corners better than any tire I have owned. Tire pressure kept as recommended by Michelin. Not update yet on puncture resistance.
I bought these tyres as they were on offer at the time, but I have since learnt that this was a costly mistake. Yes they are light, yes they look great but they just dont last very long. Having had these tyres on my bike since the start of the road season, I have only covered approx. 1000 miles on them, but they have already started to split at the edges of the tread. I always deflate the tyres after use and I am annoyed that they are an expensive tyre to last only three months. I also had some Lithion 2's at the same time for my training wheels and these have gone the same way and I have punctured several times on a scale that I have never suffered with other tyres. Needless to say I will be reverting back to Conti's for the remainder of the season and not touching Michellin tyres with a barge pole in future.
I'll try to be concise here:
Ordered 2 tires and on the first 7 miles I got one tire cut from the center to the side wall (down to the fabric). I was upset, but again, it could be just bad luck right? Decide to buy another replacement, after 400 miles I got a blowout, there is a whole on the sidewall rendering the tire completely useless this time. Not going for the forth tire, I guess I learned the lesson. Throughout the 400 miles ridden I got 4 flats.
Facts: 700x23 tire, bike+rider combined weight 230 punds, road condition : some debris, but clean for the most part; Pressure as per recommendation max (8bar = 116 PSI). Flat and straight roads, no aggressive cornering.
The tires didn't feel more supple than my Vittoria's, neither faster, perhaps a little bit more sluggish, but I mind just be biased here. However the grip is par to the Vittoria's, very good on cornering! Buying now a Hardshell Gator, at size 700x25 on the rear. Let's see how it rolls!
Rolls fast and quiet. Exceptional cornering - even better than the Pro3. Easier to mount on rim than the Pro3, as well. Nice, thin sidewall renders a supple ride. Unlike Conti's which one can liken to riding on a mid-90's clincher.
Funny how others will slam a tire, just because they got some puntures. Try not riding over debris and then clean the inside of the tire post-flat.
Ordered the wrong size tyres and tubes, Doh!, returning and getting replacements was a doddle, 5 day turnaround from me sending to receiving the correct stuff. Faultless service, very pleased indeed and will shop at PBK again
Tyres, let's face it they can be a hit or a miss. Compare to car tyres they are pretty damned expensive too so once you think you have your best compromise I would stick to it. I have used Continental, other folk swear by them, but I hated them. Constant punctures. I didn't like the feel or the roll of Vittoria Rubinos and although I liked the the Schwalbe Ultremos I found they also cut quite easily and were prohibitively expensive. That's why I have always came back to the Michelin Pro series in their various guises as I love their puncture resistance and handling. Time will tell how well these wear as I found the Pro 3 didn't last as long as I would have liked. If the manufacturer claims are correct then they should be fine. They seem to have come down in price a lot too from when they were first made.
a great tyre and very fast. better than the pro3
Lightweight , fast , and very reasonably price. Improved cornering and wet surface grip from the Michelin Pro 3s. Trusted Michelin quality !
I will update these to 5 stars as I have enough miles on now to assess better. I'll give 5 stars because they really are holding up exceptionally well to the same roads that would have already ripped up the Pro3 Race. The squaring off of the rear is actually pretty minimal (but a little bit is happening). The durability is superb for the performance.
Same feel as the Pro 3's but they feel like the corner a bit better.
In one week I managed to get a flat in both front and rear. The second week, I flatted out again but this time I got a cut through the rear. In 2 weeks, GARBAGE!
