GREAT PEDALS THIS IS MY SECOND SET OTHERS DONE ABOUT 40,000 KMS LOOK GOOD ALSO
have been using these and their cheaper cousin the 520s for about 15 years on my road and MTB - 100% reliable
Good value product with very high quality... Feels great
These are easy to adjust, but not as light as the 520 model. I like the adjustability of the spring tension. The bearings last long and dont need maintenance. They more pricey then the 720 model but well worth it.
Overall great pedals, albeit a dash heavier than the 770 or other higher end models. However, has the signature crisp shimano feel, and bearings are smooth and fluid.
Great product at a much lower price point than the top end technologies.
What does your extra tenner get you over the Shimano M520s? Well, they're a wee bit lighter and everything just feels a bit better quality out the box, and there are no spanner-flats on the cro-mo spindles so they tighten onto the crank with an allen key out back, looking neater as a result. Apart from that it's more-or-less the same pedal, the same gappy mud-friendlier design, the same Shimano float and release feel.
