Universally recognised, Continental inner tubes are a staple of every cyclist's kit bag.
This Continental Road Race inner tube comes with a short valve, and is up to the standard of the rest of Continental's inner tube products. Getting stuck out in the wilderness - or anywhere for that matter - with a flat tyre can be devastating and will often cut a good ride short. Carrying a spare inner tube, such as the Continental Race Road, can be a lifesaver. - T.H

Excellent product - but not impressed with Yodel your 'courier'
have not tried it out yet but im sure it will be fine as you cant go wrong with that brand off tube.
Used these for years and I'm happy sticking with them.
does exactly what it says on the box , top quality tubs
Bought to go with Continental tyres, I find these inner tubes as reliable as any
Bought these as a replacement to the tubes that came with the bike. Much much better. More durable and slim fitting. Will be buying again in the future
It's a tube, and does a tube's job. It's fairly skinny, so less chance of pinching it when taking it on or off. It loses one star because when inflated outside the tube, it bulges significantly in just one place - possibly due to some inconsistency with the rubber.
Durable and light tube for all clincher users.
The best combination of features, weight, durability, reliability and price. I have used vittoria, michelin, kenda, schwalbe and some others. These are not the lightest. But I have found that it can be pricey and more time consuming to use race-day tubes. So these have become the standard.
I use both 23mm and 25mm tyres - its good that this one tube can accommodate both. Removable valve core is also a bonus.
I got a lot of use out of these on my road bike. A bit expensive at $8 each, but well worth it, in my opinion. Besides, who wants to be stuck changing a tube in the cold or dark? Just spend a few extra bucks and get high quality tubes.
These have a nice solid feel to them and the valve is securely attached to the tube. Once its in I don't know how you would tell the difference, but good to rule out tube failure as a cause.
Would be good if this was available on a bulk buy to keep costs down, buying individually can add up....
Does the job..!
Like many others, I've tried out cheaper inner tubes with the hopes of saving a few dollars. Nearly every time I have bought cheaper tubes, they fail.
Why save a little when you gain so much longevity and quality in these?
Do yourself a favour and buy quality inner tubes like these ones.
Good puncture resistance, holds air well. Nothing to say else that it's a great value.
It holds air and it holds it very well. I've been using these for the last few months and they're great. They're super easy to fit inside of a tire when mounting new tires, they hold air better than the tubes I used before and they're cheap too. Overall 5/5. Couldn't have asked for more.
Grabbed these when PBK was having a sale. Can never have enough tubes. Been using the same pair for about 2000 miles yet and haven't had to patch it up yet so I have a bunch of extras lying around. Have the long stem version, pump head attaches easily and the tubes hold air pretty well. I don't loose much pressure after a week but I do top off before every ride.
While there are cheaper tubes for sale, these Continental tubes have a nice quality feel to them. The valve is well-built and also has a removable core. There isn't much that can be said about tubes, but these are some of the best you can get for the money. They aren't super light, but they also aren't fragile so take your pick.
these are really the best tubes out for 700c wheels, I never catch any pinch flats, and rarely puncture flats
I have tried these, but I have since completely switched to the Michelin with the 40mm smooth valvestem. I had one set of the Contis fail at valvestem/rubber interface. I have not had complaints with other ones of these Contis that I have had, but I do feel they flatted a bit more often than the Michelins. As they have gone bad, I have replaced them with the Michelin with no regrets.
Try the Michelin instead, is my recommendation and if you have not tried smooth valvestems for any reason, give them a shot as it makes airing up easy and gives no stress to the tube at the valvestem at all with my pump and pumphead as it attaches to the valve head.
if you aren't obsessed with a few grams weight this is perfect. Use the long valve on my 30mm rims and works fine
Continental makes good products, and this tube is no exception. The valve area is well-made and not as flimsy as those on no name tubes. Though its more due to the tires than the tube, I havent had flats using these yet.
Received one with a defective valve core, but was replaced by PBK in short order with no hassle. Thanks!
When a product never lets me down, I stick with it. I have never had any issues with these tubes, and I have never had any problems with the valve stems as stated by a previous reviewer. These tubes do their job and they do it well.
Good value for the money. These tend to stand up well with minimal punctures and issues. I prefer the long stem as it makes it way easier to inflate without worrying which type of pump device you are using.
This is a good long wearing tube. This tube provides a nice smooth ride when paired with a quality tire. The only reason I cannot give this tube five stars is the valve stem starts to back out after 3-4 months of opening and closing it. It is not really a big problem but you have to be careful not to bend it when it works loose.
