The Shimano 105 ST-5700 Levers relocate the brake lever pivot for an improved mechanical advantage. New brake arch pivots offer a higher level of modulation and power at the top of the brake hoods.
Internal cable routing and reach adjustment offers lighter steering action and a clean looking handlebar area. The fit can be customised via a series of shims to adjust the reach by 5mm or 10mm for increased comfort and control. - A.D.

Shimano Shifters
Delivery of the shifters was right on time as described on the website. They arrived in excellent condition. Installed easily and work better than my previous Shimanos I had installed.
105 Shifters
I upgraded from my Tiagra shifters to the 105's for my winter bike. There was nothing particularly wrong with the Tiagras (they were well looked after, and felt like they were still working great), but what a huge improvement in shifting with the new 105's! Smooth easy shifting, brake levers feel great and probably my imagination, but they feel a lot more comfortable and easier to use. Great all round buy!
