Garmin 800 case

It is what it says, a silicon case that fits the Garmin 800, protects the edges and back of the unit, doesn't protect the screen though

Garmin 800 performance bundle

Great value GPS that has just about all the functionality a biker would want including heart rate monitor and cadence sensor. Came at a fantastic price from probikekit. Only downside is the instruction manual which is pretty poor although I eventually figured it all out.

The perfect training partner!

You have to buy one of these! I know it's expensive but it literally gives you every piece of data you could want which provides massive motivation to ride and get stronger! Have now put city navigator on mine which works perfectly and gives me the confidence to explore new places without getting lost. With the extra 10% off voucher probikekit were the cheapest place around the product arrived the day after order with standard delivery! Really happy with the service and over the moon with the product.

The mapping abilities that the Edge 800 offers are a significant upgrade from the Edge 500, and would be my main reason for upgrading.

The features of the Garmin Edge 800 are vast. It can practically do everything except turn the pedals. In short, the Garmin Edge 800 is an excellent successor to the Garmin 705 with additional touch-screen functionality and ANT+. If you already own an Edge 500, you’ll be familiar with the menu options and functionality (minus the maps). The mapping abilities that the Edge 800 offers are a significant upgrade from the Edge 500, and would be my main reason for upgrading. -cyclosport.org

If you’ve been shy of getting into GPS, this new 800 will convert you. Touchscreen and OS maps make it our top choice

With a touchscreen display and improved interface, the Edge 800 is an excellent successor to Garmin’s popular Edge 705 GPS bike computer. It’s easier to use and offers signicant new features over the 705 including compatibility with a wider range of maps (including Ordnance Survey in the UK), temperature, and improved calorie counting.

Overall, the Edge 800 is the best bike-specic GPS unit we’ve used. It had us hooked on using it every ride. It’s robust, with logical menus, and its touchscreen is both easy and fun to use. The screen didn’t scratch despite lots of prodding with muddy ngers, and it’s waterproof. It supplies all the data we knew we wanted, and some we didn't, but you never feel bogged down in info. The battery life has been addressed and we can pack in the hours without it taking a nap before the end of the ride; a frustration we had before.

GPS-enabled bike computer with masses of navigation and performance-measuring capability – the best device of its kind- 4.5 / 5 stars

Garmin’s new Edge 800 GPS-enabled bike computer comes packed to the rafters with the features of the existing Edge 500 and 705 models, but with a bigger display than either, touch screen operation, and faster satellite location. It’s a fantastic bit of kit.

"...Should you buy the Edge 800? If you’re after an accurate navigational tool, it’s Garmin’s slickest, most intuitive offering yet – the potential here is huge. And if you want a generous amount of web-supported performance information too, you’re onto a winner. "
