Good gears for those hilly rides. Light too
Quite light for the size and a great help on my latest ride, made a local hill without a stop and had a 28 mile ride altogether, brilliant.
You just can fault the Ultegra cassette and at the price I paid its frankly amazing ... Its the second one I have purchased and the first is still going strong on my winter bike.
Easy to fit and very smooth in operation. Make sure to change your chain at the same time to get the best out of it. I tend to use the SRAM chains as they are easier to fit.
Top quality product at an excellent price.
This cassette gives the best range of gears on my wife's triple.
For those of you like me who live in the hills an 11-28 is necessary for those steep ramps....easy to fit and hardly any slipping first run out! Fitted easily onto my Mavics and no drama with the installation. Just remember to grease up the internals of the sprocket when you put it on....save yrself 30quid installation down the bike shop and do it yourself ;o)
Shimano is always good quality, this cassette is no different, does what is says on the box, great price as well
As all components of the line 6700 good weight and good performance. Shimano is Great.
Shimano ultegra cs-6700 cassette -10 speed is excellent, quiet and strong material.Good buy,it is worth the purchase.
I had a Shimano 105 12/25 cassette on my compact road bike, I wanted something with a bit more top end so I bought this cassette in an 11/23. Quick delivery, great price and the product was perfect. Easily fitted and does exactly what I need. Recommended.
Excellent price and excellent service . Thank you ! I shall check with you first on any product I need to purchace . Laurence
Great product at great price! Truly satisfied... As always!
Simply Fantastic! Smooth shifting and quiet. This was the best price I could find online plus a discount on top. No fuss - quick delivery, well packaged. All in all very pleased. I have recommended PBK to many people.
This cassette will shift effortlessly and making cycling a dream. No worrying about slipping gears or grinding crunches coming from the rear of the bike this is the business. I'm sure Dura Ace is better but at a price outside of my budget. Stick with Ultegra and you can't go far wrong. A big thumbs up from me!
The best price contra value cassette on the market.
the Ultegra versions has the same quality as Dura Ace,,,,, and the price is much better
Good product and nice price~ Although, Delivery is too late. All of others are satisfactory.
Brilliant product at a fantastic price, even better when I added a discount code I'd been sent. Quick postage too. Definantly be back too PBK in the future.
I have always been greatly satisfied with the service of your company
It is worth the money and very durable
Ultegra quality needs no review, but if you want the best price and free postage look no further than probike
Best price around, Excellent quality and a good upgrade over 105, Excellent shifting quality and very quiet.
This was the best price I could find online. No fuss - quick delivery, well packaged. All in all very pleased. I would recommend Probikekit for future purchases!
Good quality kit that does the job. Great gear ratio for a compact trans.
comparing with dura ace with that price and quality, I don't see why you will miss it. Very good on training wheels, even fit on racing if you r not a pro
Great cassette, great price, precise, reliable. I would buy again.
I went for the Ultegra cassette as I wanted as close a set of ratios as possible. The 12-23 does this job very well and allows me to maintain a constant cadence over undulating terrain.
Hi Guys, someone in the group usually tells me when I need a new cassette/ chain. They obviously cannot stand the noise!! I`ve been doing a lot of hill work recently so I went for a 11-28 set-up and I could`nt be happier. The cassette is as quiet as and as smooth as. Many thanks for your great service. Kind regards, Rod.
I was really missing having a 16 tooth sprocket. You must know what I mean - hammering along a favourite section of road where one gear is a bit too big and the one down just too small... Well the gap in *my* ratios was between 15T and 17T. And realistically, how many of us can spin out a 53x11? In Cumbria?! Anyway - my ride-it-13,000 miles-a-year best bike has always had Ultegra on it, and with care, maintenance and a bit of mechanical sympathy, I've not managed to wear out the original 11-28 that it came with. But with the arrival of a new wheel I thought I should perhaps treat said hoop to a shiny new cassette. As always with new stuff, your brain tells you it works better and is crisper than the stuff you took off, but to be honest, I'm not a discerning enough cyclist to be able to tell if the teeth have 0.0000001ml of wear like some seem to..... but in combination with a new chain and chainrings, it *definitely* makes a nice "I'm new" noise. Bottom line is, that these cassettes are great! I have a 12-25 and 11-28 that I can mix and match depending on the terrain I'm riding - although the 21-23-25 on a carrier gets used less than the 21-24-28 just because I have legs made of wet spaghetti, and most of the roads I train on have at least one 25% gradient to play with - and I fully expect them to last as well as the original (still perfectly serviceable after 17,000+ miles, but demoted to the winter/turbo wheel now) one did.
Chuffed with this at the price, as ever I can't complain about the service and delivery and to top it all, CRC put a mail out that there Ultegra Cassettes were cheapest around, and they didn't come close to PBK's price.
Great price, shipped fast and free High5 sample. What's not to like! Recommended.
I ride a Trek Madone 5.2 which came with this cassette. I change the cassette every second chain replacement and I have not had any problems with shifting. I haven't tried any other cassette because this one works so well for me so I can't compare it to any other cassette. I also like that you can get different gear ratios.
Have tried the Ultegra twice and was not impressed with the wear rate and not so smooth running of chain. Put on a 105 and instantly noticed a smoother running chain.
I purchased this to replace the 105 cassette on my road bike. It has worked great over the past year or so, but if I had to do it over again, I would probably purchase the Dura Ace cassette. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but probably worth it for the lower weight / better performance.
Still, a great product at a great price.
I'm sticking with Shimano and SRAM for my cassettes, and either 105 or Ultegra with Shimano. You get what you pay for.
I am not a recreational rider by any means. I work on my bike and I ride it 40+ miles every day between my commute and my work. This cassette installs easily, shifts well, but wore down on me in about a month. 1000 miles total give or take. I have had SRAM cassettes that ran for 3 months or more. I like the price points on a lot of Shimano products, but this just didn't cut it for me.
I really appreciate this cassette. I upgraded from 105 and I feel the difference. The price is very good compare to my bicycle store.
This cassette is very durable and super smooth when combine with a good chain. The 11-25 option is perfect for triathlon as it gives you a wide range to maintain your cadence on various terrains.
This is a lovely cassette for a great price. The 11-28 is perfect if you live in a hilly part of the world. It's light, easy to maintain, and works pretty flawlessly. It definitely wore a bit faster than I imagined it would however. After a single hard season, the cassette was pretty shot, which surprised me a bit given that I maintained it quite carefully during the year.
I purchased the 11-28 to swap out from my Ultegra CS-6700 12-25. Coming from riding a Triple crank, my new bike is a double (53/39) so, having the extra gears on the cassette really helps going up the steep climbs. Shifting is just as smooth as on 12-25 and best of all, I didn't need to new chain.
I switched out my SRAM cassette for the Ultegra cassette and have had great results. The shifting is smooth and A LOT more quiet. I have since purchased two additional Ultegra cassettes for Crit racing and hill climbing.
This is a lovely price for a solid cassette. I have to say, the life on these seems to be only one solid season, but that's about par for the course for many cassettes. While they are in good order, they are excellent, quiet, smooth shifting, and reliable.
For me this is a great value, since you know you will only get so many miles out of a cassette. And this is a solid reliable piece of the Shimano drive train. I currently have an 11-23, and this is my first Ultegra cassette/chain - and I have had a variety of chain cassette combos Dura-Ace cassette w/ Dura-Ace - Sram red chain, Dura Ace chain w/ Sram 1070 cassette, the one thing I'm noticing and I'm not sure if this is an lever/derailleur adjustment issue, but there is a slight lag in down shifting under load, its a little slow and loud, just enough to lose some time and communicate your intentions to your rivals... but again not sure yet if this is can be attributed to the chain/cassette or a need for adjustment.
